So, our friend, Tammy Davenport, over at About.com has put together a list comprised of her top 5 methods for preventing cavities. Before we get to Tammy’s list, it’s important to define just what a cavity is. In simple terms, a cavity is the erosion of tooth enamel due to the synergistic effects of sugars/starches combining with the plaque covering our teeth.
